Italian Wine Regions
VENETO
The Veneto region produces more wine than any other region
in Italy, with the exception of Sicily and Apulia. The Veneto
extends from the Alps to the Adriatic Sea and includes a part
of the Italian slopes of the Eastern Alps. Its vineyards not
only yield a great amount of premium wines but a large volume
of wine for mass consumption. The province of Verona produces
as much D.O.C. wine as all of Piedmont and more than Tuscany.
