LOMBARDIA
Lombardy is Italy's most populated region and also its most
prosperous. The land ranges from alpine settings to the north
and west, to the rolling plains south and east bordering Emilia
and Veneto. Total annual wine production is 18 million cases.
Its 34 D.O.C. Wines amount to 25% of total production.
