CAMPANIA
Campania is the ankle portion of the boot, the upper part
of the southern
sector and Italy second most populated region. Its annual
production of only 25 million cases (one quarter of what comes out of Puglia)
is low. Less than 1% are D.O.C. wines, of which there are 21.
