Located in the Agrelo region of Mendoza. The Ortiz Family purchased 300 hectares of vineyards and the winery, Fincas Patagonicas, in 2001 and has since added more vineyards and a top wine team to in order to create value driven, varietally correct terrior–reflective wines. Zolo has vineyards in Agrelo,Maipu,Tunpungato, Ugarteche, and Tunuyán regions of Mendoza and utilizes the microclimates in each region to grow each varietal in their best home. They are using a combination of French and American oak to assist in expressing the best of their land and fruit.
