The winery is located within the municipality of Cubillas de Santa Marta, in Valladolid, which also belongs to the emerging Designation of Origin Cigales, as far as red wines are concerned its excellent facilities are sorrounded by cared vineyards, which dominates the main variety of the area, the Tempranillo and Tinto Fino. Its spread is partly due to the extraordinary 1999 harvest, which was raw material of the first wines launched in to the market. The origin of the winery dates back to the winemaking tradition of Carlos Moro's family, which has been cultivating and elaborating wine in the areas of Cubillas de Santa Marta and Valoria la Buena. Wines are made in a traditional way resulting in exceptional clarets.
