Salvalai has been producing quality wines since 1870 from the grapes grown in the vineyards on the hills overlooking the Verona shore of Lake Garda, a wonderful landscape, rich in history and with a thousand-year old wine-growing tradition. With grapes harvested in the best vineyards, Salvalai makes wines such as the increasingly renowned and popular Ripasso and the inimitable Amarone, both produced using an intriguing, ancient grape drying technique, as well as the three "Classico" wines of the Verona area (Soave, Bardolino and Valpolicella) and other wines of international fame, such as Merlot and Pinot Grigio
