Lacryma Christi is a wine wich was made for centuries by monks in Campania.
Its name is historical and based on local folklore. A legend that give the wine`its
name, wich means tears of Christ. It alludes to Lucifer`s fall from heaven.
Lucifer carried away a tract of paradise with him to make a kingdom on earth for
himself. He let this tresure fall in the gulf of Naples. Seeing himself deprived of
this beauty ,Chist wept onto the slopes of the Vesuvius. On the spot where his
tears fell, are where the vines that gave birth to this wine first sprouted.
