In 1958 a group of wine producers in Verona area got together to form a co-operative association. Today this co-operative comprises 270 wine growers with vineyards covering a total area of 600 hectares throughout the hilly area north of Verona. This territory begins authorized for denomination of origin. Since the 1990's, constant dedication and care in the growing of grapes and in wine-making processes, where traditional methods are backed up by constantly updated modern technology, have led to an excellent standard of wine. Awards won at top level international wine competitions are the well deserved reward for unstinting research aimed at improving quality.
