Over ten years ago, Francesco Serafini
and Antonello Vidotto took assumed control of a rocky vineyard which had been cultivated by the monks of the Abbey Nervesa for hundreds of years. They believed that they could make world class Bordeaux wines from the Abbey's sloping vineyards off the banks of the Piave river in Venezia. By using existing old vines, replanting using indigenously cultivated clones, employing only organic fertilizers, and handpicking grapes, Serafini & Vidotto
produce that have achieved critical acclaim.
