For generations the rinaldi family has been making traditional
wines of the Veneto region. In the 1960 Rinaldo Rinaldi broke
out of the customs of his forefathers and converted the winery
into a Classic method Spumante “Maison de Negoce”.
Located in the town of Soave, Villa Rinaldi is the only house
making Classic Method Spumante Wines in their area. With the utmost focus
on quality, Rinaldi sources only the best grapes from the
Adige Valley and employs ancient techniques in the production
of his wines including the extremely labor intensive “disgorgement
a la Volee”. Mr. Rinaldi hand disgorges all 110,000
bottles personally and uses no dosage in topping off the
bottles. The wines are incredibly elegant and
intense with soft round texture and amazing ageability.
