IL NURAGHE

Cannonau “Vignaruja”
Cannonau is an indigenous varietal of Sardegna, as evidence of this grape were discovered in ancient ruins from 1200 BC. Often thought to be the same varietal as Grenache. Cannonau is present throughout Sardegna, as it grows well in warm climates, is resistant to the winter chill and tolerates the seaside breeze. This wine is full bodied with aromatic notes of cherries, blackberries, leather, and spice. On the palate, it has soft tannins and  notes of black cherries and chocolate
