Barbi is one of those three, producing this Lago di Corbara wine from 70% Sangiovese, 20% Montepulciano, and 10% Canaiolo. This wine is stainless steel fermented and aged in barrel for 6 months before bottling. It is a rustic wine with notes of red fruit, spice and earth. On the palate it shows a rich and full body that best suits strong and savory roasts, game, and hard cheeses.
