Orvieto “Abboccato”
A typical blend, this crisp white is made from 45% Trebbiano Toscano, 30% Grechetto, 15% Verdello, and 10% of Drupeggio and Malvasia coming from the hilly slopes surrounding the town of Orvieto. This fragrant white has notes of stone fruit and white flowers. On the palate, the high acidity is matched by a touch of sweetness, giving its name “Abboccato” which means “off-dry” in Italian.
