Alto Cedro Winery is named for the 17 tall Cedar trees that are grown on its property in the Uco Valley. The winery was founded in 1998 and includes quite a few plots of land that contain 5-70 year old vines. They are in La Consulta, a very high altitude location and use gravity fed tanks and cement vats to make refined and expressive wines..
