New Additions:

LE VIGNE DI ZAMO (FRIULI)

La Vigne di Zamò came to life in 1978 when the Zamò family purchased vineyards in Rocca Bernardo, later supplemented by vineyards at Buttrio in 1990 and then in Rosazzo in 1996. From these three vineyards they make a range of wines, using both traditional and international varities, as is the way in this part of Italy. It’s now a substantial operation with a gleaming new winery, but still the Zamòs haven’t lost touch with the traditions of their area.

MASO MICHEI (VALLE DEI RONCHI-TRENTINO)

In the breathtaking area of the “Piccole Dolomiti”the vineyard is located at 840m. above sea level and is one of the highest in Italy. Here most of the work is still done manually as it was in years gone by where refrigeration doesn’t exist and the fermentation temperature is controlled by circulating spring water that is a constant nine degrees. The environmental impact is almost non existent, due to very low energy consumption. The homestead is self-sustaining and in perfect harmony with its territory today… as it was in the past
